Boca Raton's Fall Openings, Sorted by How Firm the Date Is

As of mid-October 2026, Boca Raton's new restaurants can be sorted by how specific their opening dates are. The smaller openings gave exact days. A Mizner Park doughnut shop set September 26, a downtown Vietnamese restaurant set September 25, and a French bakery in West Boca set October 6. The big full-service rooms gave only a season. That includes the two dining rooms headed for Town Center at Boca Raton and a restaurant, lounge and private club on Mizner Boulevard. One of the Town Center restaurants first said "coming soon" nearly three years ago. A dim sum restaurant headed for Uptown Boca has not given any timing at all.

The gap between those groups matters most on Glades Road, where most of the new tables are going. Sorting the openings by how firm their dates are tells you which ones you can plan an evening around now and which ones are still only plans.

The Openings That Named a Day

Maman, Shadowood Square, 9959 Glades Road. This French café and bakery is the most firmly dated new spot on the Glades corridor. Boca Magazine reported a grand-opening ceremony for October 6, with neighboring Shadowood shops joining in. The children's clothing store Tecomoabesos planned a pop-up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the jewelry store Hustle + Heart planned one from 1 to 3 p.m. The first 50 guests who spent $15 or more at Maman were promised a croissant charm. The first 100 were promised a chocolate chip cookie and a Maman tote. The Boca Raton Observer previewed the same event on October 1. The menu covers fresh-baked pastries, scratch-made breakfast and lunch, specialty coffee and tea. The Boca café joins Maman's West Palm Beach location, and another is listed as opening soon in Delray Beach's Sundy Village. The coverage we found was all written before the ceremony. Nothing we found after October 6 confirms the doors opened on schedule, so a quick call before driving over is sensible.

Parlor Doughnuts, 9 Plaza Real S., Suite 108, Mizner Park. Boca Magazine listed a grand opening on September 26.

Basilic Vietnamese Cuisine, 1901 N.W. Second Ave. Formerly Basilic Vietnamese Grill, the restaurant was set to reopen at its new downtown location on September 25. This is a move to a new address, not a new restaurant, so longtime regulars will need to update their directions.

All three are small-format openings: a bakery-café, a doughnut shop and an established restaurant changing addresses. All three gave a specific day weeks in advance.

The Openings Still Waiting on a Date

Two high-profile restaurant chains are headed to Town Center at Boca Raton. On September 10, the Palm Beach Post reported that Greek seafood concept Limani Grille and Tuscan Italian restaurant Felice had both posted "coming soon" for the mall's 6000 Glades Road address, "with specific opening dates still to be announced." We found no announced date for either restaurant since then.

Opening Location Cuisine Stated timing First announced
Limani Grille Town Center, 6000 Glades Rd. Greek and Mediterranean seafood "This fall" About three years ago, originally for Spring 2024
Felice Town Center, 6000 Glades Rd. Tuscan Italian, handmade pasta, wine "This fall or winter" September 2026 report
Nana's Dim Sum & Dumplings Uptown Boca, 9690 Glades Rd. Dim sum, Chinese comfort food No date announced October 6, 2026 report
Fletcher's 133 S.E. Mizner Blvd. Restaurant, lounge and private club "This fall" June 26, 2026 report

Limani has the longest wait. Boca Magazine's August 17 update said the restaurant was announced "nearly three years ago" and was "originally slated for a Spring 2024 opening but has since faced construction delays." The plan itself is detailed. Rotating fresh seafood will be grilled over charcoal in the Greek tradition, with ingredients sourced locally and from fishers and farmers around the Mediterranean. Diners can choose an Aegean-coast-inspired dining room or what the magazine calls an "expansive patio." The magazine's revised target is "this fall." Three weeks after that update, the Post reported that no date had been set.

Felice has given itself a wider window. Boca Magazine's September 3 report said "this fall or winter," with no day and no suite number. A window that stretches into winter could mean February as easily as November.

Further west on Glades, Uptown Boca has a new tenant lined up. The Boca Raton Observer reported on October 6 that Nana's Dim Sum & Dumplings, a Colorado-based chain, will take over the space recently vacated by Zen Sushi + Robata Grill at 9690 Glades Road. The menu centers on dim sum made fresh daily, including xiao long bao, shao mai, shrimp dumplings and pan-fried pork buns. It also lists truffle soup buns, noodle soups and Peking duck. The Observer was direct about the timing: "An opening date has not been announced."

Downtown has its own season-only opening. In June, Boca Magazine announced Fletcher's, a restaurant, lounge and private club at 133 S.E. Mizner Blvd., for "this fall." That estimate is now nearly four months old, and we found no newer date.

Why the Big Rooms Run Later

The sources give only one direct reason for any of these delays. Boca Magazine attributes Limani's slip to construction. The pattern is still easy to see on the calendar. A bakery opening in a strip-center bay at Shadowood Square or a doughnut shop taking a Mizner Park suite can pick a day and plan pop-ups around it. A full-service restaurant building out a patio and a themed dining room inside a regional mall has a lot more construction to finish before it can do the same.

For anyone planning a dinner, the practical effect is simple. Through fall, the new places on Glades Road with confirmed details are a coffee-and-pastry stop at Shadowood. The Town Center dining rooms that will draw the most attention are still a matter of watching the "coming soon" signs.

A Short Order of Operations Through Mid-December

An opening with no date can't anchor a plan, but the City of Boca Raton's fall calendar has fixed dates, times and addresses. Here is how the season lines up through December 10:

  1. Now. Maman at 9959 Glades Road is the newest dated opening on the corridor, with the caveat above about confirming hours first.
  2. Saturday, October 24, 9 a.m. to noon. Howl-O-Ween is the city's free dog-focused event at Countess de Hoernle Park.
  3. Thursday, November 5, 6 to 9 p.m. The Night Market returns to Sanborn Square, 72 N. Federal Hwy., with food vendors, baked goods, local artists and makers, and live music. The city offers free rides to and from the market on BocaConnect, its shuttle service, which you can request through the Circuit app. The October 1 market has already happened, so November 5 is the next one.
  4. Wednesday, November 11, 4 to 7 p.m. Red, White & Boca: A Veterans Day Celebration is a free event at the Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real, with live music, a classic-car show and a veterans marketplace. It is a short walk from Parlor Doughnuts on Plaza Real South.
  5. Thursday, December 10, 6 to 9 p.m. The last Night Market of the series is holiday-themed.

In the city's release, Mayor Andy Thomson called the Night Markets "one of the best ways to experience everything that makes Boca Raton special." The three-date series is also the most firmly scheduled food event in town between now and the holidays, which is more than any of the Town Center restaurants can say.

What to Watch on Glades Road

Three updates would change this list. The first is a posted date from Limani Grille or Felice at Town Center, which would end the "coming soon" period at 6000 Glades Road. The second is any opening date from Nana's at Uptown Boca. The third is confirmation that Fletcher's opened on Mizner Boulevard within the fall window it announced in June. Until then, the dated openings are the ones listed above, and Shadowood Square's new bakery is the only one of them on Glades Road.

Many of the clients we welcome to Broken Sound arrive in season and ask where to have coffee, dinner and a quiet evening out nearby. We keep track of which Glades Road tables are actually serving and which are still behind construction walls. If you would like that local knowledge as part of a private tour and community introduction, The De Marzo Luxury Group would be glad to show you around.
